The Bunbun Web animations (7 of them) got selected for the HAFF (Holand Animation Film Festifal) Panomama NL web selection.

On October 7th, 2006, cartoonists around the world will face the 24 hour comics challenge.
To help these cartoonists, some comic book stores, educational institutions, libraries, businesses,
and comics clubs will host special 24 Hour Comics Day events.
They'll provide cartoonists with a space to work, access to food and drink, and camaraderie.
And Mattt Baay is stupid enough to join this challenge at comic store Lambiek in Amsterdam.

For the next 19 work days (yes 19, Mattt did not make it to 24 pages because of RSI) there will be a new Bunbun 24 hour comic online starting here.

30 September and 1 October 2006.
Mattt Baay will be at the Stripdagen te Houten along with Kenny Rubenis, Menno Kooistra and Hallie Lama at the Strips dot Blogo Stand selling his smallpress and some other unique goodies.

Bunbun A2 Poster Avalible.
Some crazy Dutch design company asked Mattt Baay to to Illustrate a A2 poster for them,
and the fun thing is, you can buy it here (sorry Dutch) and then color it yourself!
(oh and when you do, send us a photo, we would love to see how that ends up)

The Bunbuns will appear In "Bloed-Dorst" A album full of horror stories, and you probably will be looking at 3-4 unique Bunbun pages. check this website (click click) for more info (Dutch).

The Haarlemse stripdagen (comic convention) was a great succes!
I sold about half of my new smallpress books (so I've got some left for you), and this 'painting'. But more importantly, I had a lot of fun!!

I didnt win the Humor Clickie for best Humor webcomic, but Sephan Brusche did check out his site here.

and doing whatever it is you are supposed to do at a comic festifal.

The Bunbun Webcomic came second at the first Vzzzbx-awards.

19 may 2006.
The Bunbuns will have their 2 year anniversary, and the webcomic will exist for 1 year.
On the site there will be some guest comics done by colleagues and friends.
(19 may is not the actual date but the oldest Bunbun file on my computer dates from 19 may 2004.
The Bunbuns already existed before that time but I have to set a date somewhere.)
